Find their size
Size by height and weight, not age. Babies don’t read calendars. Our pajamas fit snug on purpose and bamboo stretches, so if you’re between sizes, size up.

All measurements are the child’s body, not the garment. The Adult 2-Piece comes in XS to XL.
Why snug isn’t optional
US law (16 CFR Parts 1615 and 1616) requires children’s sleepwear to be either flame-resistant or snug-fitting. We chose snug: no chemical flame retardants, and no extra fabric bunching up around a sleeping baby.
So our pajamas look fitted, not flowy. If you can slip a finger between fabric and skin almost everywhere, it’s probably a size too big.
When to size up, and how to measure
Size up when…
- They’re between sizes by weight. Pick the larger one. Bamboo gives a little, but it shouldn’t pull at the thighs or shoulders.
- They’re long for their age. Length matters most in footed pajamas. Size up if their last pair pulled at the toes.
- A growth spurt is coming. If they’re at the top of the range, go one up.
How to measure
- Weight: your pediatrician’s last reading, or weigh yourself holding them and subtract your own weight.
- Height: lay them on their back on a firm surface. Mark the top of the head and the heel, then measure between the marks.
- Shortcut: if a footed pajama they own fits well right now, start with the same size in ours.
Gifting, newborns and the end of a size
Buying a gift
Baby not here yet? Skip Newborn, which most babies outgrow in a few weeks. 0–3 or 3–6 months gives a much longer wear window.Newborns
Most full-term babies start in Newborn (5–8 lb) and move to 0–3 months within the first month or so.The end of a size
At the top of the weight range and the feet are pulling? It’s time. Don’t squeeze out another wear.
Still not sure? We make it easy.
Order a size, try it on, and if the fit is off you have 30 days to send it back unworn.
